The project involved the development of project documentation for the reconstruction of 12 process furnaces at the Rijeka Refinery aimed at increasing efficiency. Reconstruction was carried out by increasing the convection section of the furnaces and/or replacing existing burners with new ones with low NOx emissions, as well as introducing air preheaters for two furnaces.
All equipment was designed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards of the Republic of Croatia, European directives, and standards for pressure equipment, in accordance with ASTM, ANSI, PED, API standards.
Scope of services:
- Main projects of all disciplines including safety and occupational health, fire protection project, determination of hazard zones, and bill of quantities and cost estimate.
- Project for construction and electrical works execution and fire protection project.
- Demolition project of existing utilizers for two furnaces.
- Tender documentation for construction and electrical works.
- Revision of project documentation prepared by Petrolinvest.
- Technical control of Main projects.
- Documentation for submission of building permit application.
