The Vacuum Distillation Unit (S-2200) is designed to process light residue obtained from crude oil. When ejector gas is burned in furnace BA-2201, there is an exceedance of the limit value for sulfur oxide emissions. The project involves installing a system where waste ejector gas is sent to the gas treatment plant in series S-2500. Purified gas from amine wash column DA-2505 is directed through series S-2300 into the fuel gas system.
The installation of a new compressor package unit and "Knock out" vessels for ejector gas with accompanying piping to connect the vacuum unit to the FCC plant is planned, along with the use of existing equipment in the ejector gas washing system.
